Another Thor pushed me off of the objective the exact same way
Doctor strange: EYE OF M-
(Me as Peni Parker): time to use web to shut your mouth
"Whether you're maining or filling DPS" as if most people don't instalock dps lmfao
I think iv played one DPS game, just because I want to win more than I care to play specific characters
@imbroteinshakeIt's so funny to me that this is the optional way to win but most people don't like it
Unfortunate for me as my team will still have 5 DPS 😅
Mantis is so fun. You top someone off with health and give them a dmg boost. Got me feeling like a mom giving my kids a packed lunch ❤.
Lmfaooo I love this description
I don't want to top anyone or anything off.. You pervert.
I’d let mantis top me off just sayin
Nah bruh, your breif description of space with hela highground example was the best ive heard in years
whats the timestamp?
@CoolCollisionaround 7:52
Yeah mills is awesome. Even after I stopped playing ow I tuned in every now and then. So glad he’s on rivals
As a support main thank you for speaking up on this. I had a game where someone was telling me to only be dagger and complaining I was using cloke. Needless to say I was mvp at the end and was the only one who initiated anything. Told them at the end I know my champ and to stop telling me how to play.
I don’t think you understand what “needless to say” means
@RandomUser1-x2m So would changing that one spot to something like in the end instead of needles to say change anything of my statement? A support shouldn't be top of the leaderboard no matter what character I'm playing. I'm initiating all of the attacks against the enemy team as a support, any other moba or overwatch clone if a support has to initiate all the time and have top kills/assists with the least amount of deaths is a bit sad. Not hating on your comment but it's a bit redundant at the end of the day
Hell yeah bro. Cloak is nearly as strong as Scarlet Witch when it comes to a quick drain kill when there's nobody helping you. I've popped problem Iron Man players.

It's great to swap to Cloak after putting out Dagger's abilities, especially putting the bubble on yourself before switching to Cloak and dishing out hurt while keeping yourself safe and letting your Dagger abilities cool down
Dude you just gotta yell Leroyyyyyy Jenkinsssssss, and rush in, and you'll win every time
I do this with Captain America everytime. My win rate is about 1 in 10
@stephanfouche9208
You're not screaming loud enough, that's why
I'm doing this today when I start learning to play Cap 😂
30:25 As a Tank, i agree with being topped up after doing my job.
😂
Hell, even if I don't do my job.

We all need a little m-oral support now and again.
I sat here yesterday using venom as he’s my main and I’ll admit I had the lowest kills but I had the most damage blocked because when no one else would I had to storm the point. My cousin was working overtime to keep me alive as cloak/dagger but because i held down the point and pushed the enemy team back multiple times (ofc with the help of being healed) I ended up saving the game for us. Everyone got a upvote but me for my lack of kills. I went 70k damage blocked with the least amount of deaths and got no recognition for it smh.
That's why I hope Rocket gets a buff on his gun, projectile speed, something. Love playing as the little guy but damage is inconsistent with him cause his bullets have long travel time, fun shooting at tanks like Thor, Venom, and Peni though.
Try shooting tanks, he melts right through them and can put on a lot of pressure. When it comes to fighting duelists, I would honestly just run. Learn the best escape tactics you can
I thought so too but he has a 57% win rate. His gun actually has one of the highest dps but you gotta be within like 10 meters. It sucks but his movement is top tier.
His highest damage amount is up close (like 10-15m) so he is better at finishing off enemies. He should also avoid strafe shooting and shoot as straight as possible cuz it's like he is shooting water.

I'd love for his spread to be tighter and his bullets to have a faster travel time. The rest is pretty fine
Really useful. But it would also be cool if the DPS etc let the tank do their job. Everyone is so desperate for MVP they run around the map doing their own thing. Competitive match yesterday (im a below average player btw to be clear) but it was domination, we had the objective and rather than building up the %... you know the entire point of the match... our 3 DPS just ran off to try and find more kills rather than holding the objective got themselves killed and we were overran and the entire match flipped. Im new to this kind of game but even i understand what holding an objective is 🤦♂️
As a Loki main (that only plays quickplay for now because i don't have too much time to play) I've had countless matches where I've just healbotted and didn't even use my ULT lol, thanks for the guide! I'll try and be more proactive with him <3
Fellow Loki main. You can win most 1v1 against dps or supports. If you see someone on the high ground alone, you can swap up to them and blast them with clones. They can't even kill you because of the green zone =)
To be fair, Loki’s healing is an AOE that will also damage anyone near your allies.

So he’s likely the most suited support for healbotting (alongside Rocket since his damage is shit).
lokis are selfish and never heal their teammates nor do they push positions even though they could put clones down
New to rivals & i never played OW. This has been the most helpful guide ive seen so far. I didnt think anything would peel me off THE FINALS or poe2, but this game has done it. I wanna get into ranked and learn how to really play. +1sub

Looking forward to learning more. Thanks homie
i play finals too
Ty! Been a tank/sup main in almost every game I've played (no shade on dps!). A tanks role is to make space for the team, not stand out in the open and soak up damage or bum rush into the enemy backline and immediately get deleted. Again, no shade on dps, but if the dps goes down you can still continue the fight if you have a tank support. But if a tank goes down it's a lot harder to keep fighting.
Or the matches where no one picks a tank or healer, even when you ask them to swap. And we get completely obliterated.
@Author_SoftwareDesigner I can get if someone sucks at those roles and wants to play what they're best at. But a lot of times it's insta lock the character I like and not do what's best for the team.
@seansmith4513 It’s better to have two mid healers or slightly below average healers than no healers at all.
As a support main, I have one question. When it comes to the DPS who push too far, spam “where are the heals?” and constantly put walls/cover between themselves and their team, what should I do? I’ve attempted to calmly explain that they can stick to me if they want healing, that they are putting walls in between us, or they are going in when the tanks/healers are dead, but this only makes them more tilted.

This video helped me realize some of the bad habits I have as a support, specifically the “healbotting when losing” which I can see now. I do disagree tho that players adjust to their healers, as what I’ve said above contradicts that.
Depends what kind of heals you have. As a healer you should be right behind your teammates most of the time and when a off angle dps is low one of the healers needs to peel off the team and heal that dps quickly. Healers like luna snow can do this easily just by getting an angle and shooting them however Adam warlock would have a tougher time getting over to said dps. With that said there is a point you have to ask yourself as a healer did my dps overextend, are they too low for me to even get there before they die, and will me being out of position hurt the rest of the team on the point. Most of the time I’d argue the dps is overextending especially in lower ranks and if they are going to keep feeding the enemy team you will lose and there’s not much any support can do about it.
If they are a dive hero it’s on them to get heals. Whether that means coming back to your position for them or getting them via health packs. Don’t put your self out of position to try and save a dive hero that can’t play dive well outside of a few edge cases
Bottom line: nobody is good, so regardless of what they say it's stupid

In a vacuum you are behind your tank, on an angle that can give value woth damage and healing, or some other form of utility. If they push too far in an area, either they were expecting your team to be there (dumb), wanted you to follow (dumber), or thought that you would stop what you are doing to go and try and save them (dumbest)

Play your own game. Dont neglect utility, like stuns and dmg boosts, be sure to use them in a way that benefits your team somehow (for example, stunning and ult so that it doesn't get as much value)

Also don't use comms, it iust incites toxicity. Unless your ready to literally just ignore the person who is baby raging over some dumb Marvel game and their poor fake number that might go down and just do what you think is good

Be objective, would damaging their flanker and making him backoff be better or would holding your stun til he dives and guaranteeing the kill with your team a better pick?
Would healing your tank exclusively so he can get some space, or should you heal the Black Panther that just killed 2 on point be better so you can go back in as a team

Its a dynamic game, so adapt. Even if it means adapting to ignoring people's voice so you play better
as a new in shooters player I'm learning a lot with your videos, very well explained i really like your tutorials, thank you, you are one of my favorite Marvel Rivals content creators ⭐⭐⭐👌🏾😊
As someone trying to learn strategist I get yelled at both pushing up and staying back. I'm lost lmao
23:00
If i ever attempted to sneak around the whole map for a minute away from my team to flank, my whole team would be dead after 40 seconds and they'd beg for a new healer...
But i see what you mean tho :D
Facts 😂 I was also kinda confused by the play I would have ran right into an enemy and get cooked
A good support is a support who doesn't aim to get a pat on the back from your team.
You have to survive, you have to push a proactive play, you have to sacrifice teammates to achieve the team win condition. Treat it as the most ungrateful job you ever had
As a support player, this is so true. It’s so much more rare to get MVP as support. We’ll have 50 assists for your high kill DPS or Tanks and they get all the glory lol. Mantis has a 25% boost which could make or break a 1v1 fight.
I get mvp as mantis or cloak every other game it feels like. my dps are consistently horrible my tanks run in circles and do nothing. Just got gold 2 and it seems a bit better than bronze but holy smokes what more can you do with 30k+ healing 10k+ damage while the rest of the team is absolutely unaware of what’s going on around them
My pet peeve is I’m new to the game and I play Cloak, I know this isn’t a I’m the hero game but everyone in the lowest rank does this. I’m like I can’t help the “team” if they scatter. It’s annoying. I can’t get to everyone. If you cluster I can help, it’s my job. Maybe im wrong about this. Maybe I need a good bunch of friends and play together and get feedback.
This video is great! Like it up! I'd like to add some input as well. He's so so right about being a support and modulating your aggressiveness. You MUST occasionally apply pressure for YOUR safety. Staying by your tanks and dps when they are good and strategic with being aggressive keeps you from getting picked on my close combat DPS characters. Also 2 supports is essentially absolutely a necessity in my experience. And Supports need to SUPPORT EACH OTHER. Its like the best thing ever to play with a support who reciprocates you healing them. And the "Understanding" 1. We both typically should play different roles depending on the sitch. First of all I feel like us mid or high mid level players are having the most fun bc at this point everyone seems to be pretty good with every character so the experience is so complex lol. Now for the roles (in my play experience. Please feel free to add). One of us should be more aggressive than the other. Not being a heal bot but more so subtly applying a little pressure to the shooters, Hela and witch before she gets too close but primarily or secondary healing the healer and the team near you bc the healer ahead should be healing those around them and applying pressure on whoever the tanks and/or DPSs are applying pressure too and getting off your ult to keep your tank alive or damage boosting your DPSs who may be going crazy and vice versa. Also if the opposing team has an Iron Man or believe it or not some person who knows how to use storm or both, at least one of the supports need to target them along with whatever other player is doing it. Because when they know how to play they can absolutely wreck with timely air support. And MOST IMPORTANTLY. As i stated earlier about supports supporting each other. If you both are fairly good at applying pressure strategically within the roles then you wont have ro heal each other THAT much but definitely check on one another. HOWEVER, if and when Iron fist, Wolverine, Black Panther, Spiderman, Psylock, Magik and the occasional tank finds themselves back there with us and its just one of them?? We go HAM on them attack them and heal each other, MOVE AROUND, time your freezes to be back to back mostly and there are times where we can eliminate them or make them bail. And Lastly. This is super important as well. Face it. If you're not a top ranked player, you're gonna die sometimes as a support lol. If you aint dyin at least just a few times you either aint playing right or the opponents trash 😂😅 But you gotta Pay attention to what you do when you die. DO NOT JUST RUN BACK INTO THE HEAT OF BATTLE IF YOU SEE ALL YOUR TEAMMATES DEAD TOO😂😂. Like chill out. Unless you have your ult in domination and its only 2 opponents in the zone and you have a team mate close behind or around and you're losing in crunch time thats a one off type scenario, but other than that you need to hang back and wait for the rest of your team OR push fast and on a strategic route if only you died. Ok and one last thing. Be smart but DON'T BE AFFRAID. Go for Hela. Go for Iron Fist (If you with the sqaud or he is a good distance and you not in a corner lol😅), Head hunt Strange and Magneto. Yes occasionally you'll die but you just want to apply enough pressure to let them know you're serious and possibly unhinged 😂😂. Then you may bait them to be dumb enough to be so pissed or disrespected that they will put them selves into harms way and run into at 1 v 2 vs 2 supports or get smashed by Hulk or Thor bc you were so aggressive i lured you into them while the other support was healing me. Or you'll realize that they will be more cautious with their approach because they have to respect the damage you putting out. This game can be an absolute blast. Working together in harmony with randos is a nice bliss lol
My buddy has what it takes to be a talented player but he hasn't played a lot of games like this. I think this will be a great guide for him. Fantastic video!
“Top them up” is crazy
