If that's not a big enough improvement, I recommend Discreet Carry Concepts Clips, also known as DC clips.
sick! I'll check them out!
Best clips in the game! Every holster gets them immediately 👌
If you take your gun on and off multiple times a day, the DCC clips are almost too good at staying attached to your belt. <br><br>It’ll be harder to remove the holster discreetly during the day if you typically need to. <br><br>If you put your pistol on once in the morning and then leave it alone all day, DCC is the way to go.
Discreet carry concepts 11/10 holster clips
That's what I'm hearing! I'll have to give them a try.
100%<br>I've tried just about everything from ulti clips, neo mag system, plastic.. and the discreet carry clips are far superior. They bend, so along with the bungee cord vertical bend you get a horizontal bend with these metal clips. Most comfortable, adjustable and conceable.
I agree on DCC clips
Ulti clips are amazing for micro guns like the bodyguard 2.0 and LCP max. I appreciate the update video
I bet thy are! I’m gunna give them another try when I get a holster for this without the extra mag and see if the weight savings helps. I loved everything else about using ulticlips.
Try the GRITR Omni holster. Its a great IWB holster.
I love the Discreet Carry Clips, I have them on my Tenicor Sagax Lux, and I had their mono clip on my TRex Arms Raptor. However they have cut up my leather Kore essentials belt. My nylon one they really haven’t done much to.
good to know thanks!
This is the way
@JoeyShmoey_was_here this is the way
As others have said, DCC clips. I use em on my tenicor certum at strongside with G19.
awesome
Take a look at the Hunter Constantine belt. I use that with a tier one APX holster and is very comfortable. The APX doesn't have as much kydex as the axis elite. Very well designed holster.
I freaking love my Hunter Constantine belt. I wear it even when I’m not carrying
You need the ulti-clip xl. It’s designed to fit over a belt.
i'll look into that! is it low profile?
For the most part. I have regular ulti-clips and the XL. The biggest difference is the length of the clipping mechanism. They’re around $20 on amazon.
@BIG_DUDE82 nice!
Cool shirt, when do i get one?
available now at <a href="http://mtnops.com/">mtnops.com</a>! i don't have a code yet but put in the notes that i sent ya! been trying to work with that brand for years!
DCC clips for the win
everybody keeps saying that but I checked them out and they're just metal clip like the plastic ones I just put on? what's the big deal?
Neomag makes these alias clips that lock into a receiver on your belt. I haven’t tried them but I’ve heard good things about
Love the alias clips! They also have a setup for tucking in dress shirts and appendix carry 😮 also you can add a direct mount in your car 👀
Love the BATs system from NeoMag. I did try the alias receiver with top mount and single clip. It wasn’t for me, however, they are well built!
cool I'll check them out!
This is why I don't run ulticlips at all. I've found that they EXCLUSIVELY work if you're not wearing a belt.
yep. they're great for that. but my setup is really too heavy to run without a belt anyways so they just didn't work for me whenever i was REALLY moving around.
@ThePreparedCitizen.And realistically, a DCC mono clip or the single DCC clips work without a belt as well.
@litobonitoare they tight enough for that?
Damn man, clean and oil that p365 a little more often 😳
cleaned oiled after the last range session. It's just a bit of lint you're seeing. I try to clean or re-oil my carry gun after every range ay or once a month. what about you?
I just bought a T1 holster. It’s nice but I don’t like how the spare magazine can only be the one direction. I’m so used to having the spare mag spun 180 degrees.
interesting, i like the way mines set ip
@T@ThePreparedCitizen.’s how you would grab it to pull it out, then have to orientate it to be able to load it in the gun the right direction. The way the T1 holster is set up, you basically could only do it by scratching your belly with your thumb, grab and pull, then flip your wrist over 180 degrees almost to the point that is doesn’t want to spin any further. Then slide it in the gun’s mag well. Rather than just grab, pull, slide in.
@williammcateer1095 yea i pinch the mag with my thumb and forefinger like you said, then i rotate the loaded end of said mag upward while simultaneously supinating my wrist to get those bullets facing downrange, then i eject spent mag and blade the gun down toward the fresh mag until they meet. one thing that helps me is, when i grab the fresh mag, i put my index finger straight on the front of the mag so all the bullets in that mag are facing my finger. the i try to poke the bottom of the grip module with my index finger, makes for a smooth loading cycle most times.
I just used the long ulti clips that can go over the belt. And they still attach when wearing clothes without a belt
oh sick that sounds like a good design!
Dcc monoblock ftw
Im gunna go check them out youre like the 10th comment about dcc's haha
I always use ulticlips, but I barely wear a belt. My area is too hot. I wear board shorts or gym shorts, occasionally linen or cargo shorts 9 months a year. Obviously only the cargos have belt loots, so I require a holster that adheres to fabric, not a belt.
bro how tight are your shorts? or do you carry a derringer? I've gone out strapped in gym shorts but i'm always terrified it's gunna just sag or fall out. i need the belt for a backbone.
@ThePreparedCitizen. The rule of thumb is; if strangers can't see the outline of your root, your shorts are too loose. But I mostly carry wonder micros. I had a 365 xl for a while. Then I tried out the kimber mako, fell in love, and mostly carry that.
@robertthor3475 lol to each their own! I'll have to check out the Kimber mako. keeping my eye out for a summer carry
My gut is too big to appendix carry. When I sit down I have to readjust so the muzzle isn't crushing my barrel. I prefer right side hip, because I'm hip, but the print is much more pronounced.
I have a gut and carry appendix. If you’re going to a restaurant or something, when you sit down, pull your pants up and put it helps with the discomfort
@TheRealElmoSkateTeamI will try that 👍
I carry a S&W m&p 2.0 full size you think it will do great concealment ?
I can only give you my experience and I have none with the shield. But a great website that I use to visually compare guns is <a href="http://handgunhero.com/">handgunhero.com</a>. Once you have experience with 1 handgun, and know how it feels in the hand and holster. You can compare it to pretty much any other handgun in existence to get an idea of its size and the way it’ll handle.
After comparing it to a few models, it seems to be virtually identical in size to the Glock 45. Most people wouldn’t call that a carry gun by a long shot since the 45 is the slide of the 19 (carry gun) on the grip frame of the 17 (full size). The number one thing that prints when carrying is the bottom corner of the grip frame where the magazine inserts. The longer the grip frame, the more you’ll print. So it’ll be difficult to conceal but not impossible. I do know people that daily a Glock 17 but I sure wouldn’t. The biggest piston I would consider concealed is a Glock 19/sig fuse and MAYBE if I was worried about wildlife too, I could make an exception for the Glock 20.
