Do you think Mojang should have did this? <a href="UCDi2s0xQrfFwivdmsPiuU_w/zTctYYWlHoGT8gSo9YiABw"></a><br>►Ray Twitch Livestream: <a href="https://www.twitch.tv/raysworks">https://www.twitch.tv/raysworks </a><br>►Ray TikTok Livestream: <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@rays_works/live">https://www.tiktok.com/@rays_works/live</a> (have to use TikTok app for cape)
Honestly, with unbreaking III you can use lunge 60 times on average… I think the durability mechanic works since it seems a little Op especially for PVP. You can do massive damage to players without much penalty even before the mending addition. If someone with maxed out gear has the spear it’s game over for anyone without maxed gear and stuff… it’s a good change to add mending but it would have been a perfect opportunity to fix the anvil system. It worked well when the best exp farm you could make was like a zombie or skeleton farm… nowadays it just feels so useless to add such a restriction especially with new armor enchants and stuff coming out in future updates…
@Real-Midas-OKIt should use hunger Instead of durability and remove mending. <br>So 1 hunger even 3 jabs and 1-3 durability to the corresponding enchantment level.
Honestly I just wish lunge didn't cost durability, but if you're midair you can only use it once before landing. I think that's a better way to go about preventing it from being infinite Elytra flight.
you already can't use it for infinite elytra flight, the lunge attack doesn't work while in flight. you also can't use lunge while in water.
@benmaiorella6296 So basically, the lunge durability thing isn't actually preventing anything ludicrous.
@themustachioedfish5988 nope not at all, it's a really stupid debuff. it doesn't even give increased damage bc you activate it using the jab attack, not the charge attack. and it already is a trade off bc the main advantage of the jab attack normally is that it has increased reach so it's good at keeping things away from you. however, the jab attack also has a minimum reach so if you're too close, you can't hit anything. basically it's good at area denial. the lunge enchantment goes completely against this design since it makes it so if you tried to use the spear to keep things away from you, you just get launched towards them so it actively brings you closer to a mob you attack, where now you can't hit them bc you're too close. meaning the jab attack's entire purpose is completely remade by Lunge and it loses it's area denial property in favor of letting you move more quickly. so it already has a drawback, that being you can't use the jab attack effectively in the way you're normally supposed to. i don't know why they added such a massive additional drawback on top of that. and to be clear, the durability done by Lunge III is 128 durability. unironically, i think it's so bad that I'd actively disenchant my spear if i got Lunge III on it. at least Lunge II is more reasonable at 32 durability, but the 128 is just wayyy too much for use in game
You can still hit multiple mobs with a single charge attack, you just can't hit a single mob multiple times. You can still do this though by just canceling the charge attack and starting a new one, so it just requires skill now.
MENDING WITH LUNGE YEAAAAAAH
lunge isn't hot garbage anymore!
they need to add, the spear/macing back; but give it a gamerule like "/gamerule multimacing true" to enable it, also add double tapping back
50% didn't say that we thought Mojang wouldn't nerf it, we said that they shouldnt.
what even was the nerf tho????
@arsen8448 the two bug fixes. The one with which you could use the mace enchantment on the spear, and the one with which you could launch an enderpearl straight to the world border.
Enchantments applying to offhand spears was unintuitive and dumb not saying wind burst spears weren't fun though<br>Patching attribute swapping would be a much bigger deal given shields are balanced pretty poorly rn
<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTJejeVf82c&t=299">4:59</a> of course
<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTJejeVf82c&t=74">1:14</a> technically this isn't a nerf by design. When dealing damage, Minecraft's code itself takes enchantments via "LivingEntity<a href="http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=%23getweaponstack">#getWeaponStack</a>" (Yarn mapping), which, if I'm not mistaken, was just a call to "LivingEntity<a href="http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=%23getmainhandstack">#getMainHandStack</a>" or a trident (probably via Riptide or something) and when the Spear deals damage, it takes enchantments from the main hand, which is a Mace, which has Wind Burst, making it apply Wind Burst on the Spear's DMG.
Thank goodness they didn't kill the lunge enchantment.
<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTJejeVf82c&t=181">3:01</a> if they didn’t fix this bug, it will be a big W
technically the first isn't a nerf by design. When dealing damage, Minecraft's code itself takes enchantments via "LivingEntity<a href="http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=%23getweaponstack">#getWeaponStack</a>" (Yarn mapping), which, if I'm not mistaken, was just a call to "LivingEntity<a href="http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=%23getmainhandstack">#getMainHandStack</a>" or a trident (probably via Riptide or something) and when the Spear deals damage, it takes enchantments from the main hand, which would be a Mace, which has Wind Burst, making it apply Wind Burst on the Spear's DMG, incorrectly. Now, it probably just checks if a Spear is being used in the offhand and then returns that.<br><br>This is a BUG and not a NERF since using the Enchantments on the Main Hand on an Offhand weapon is not intended by the developers.
<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTJejeVf82c&t=299">4:59</a> I think they forgot leather nautilus armor too
I love how your making an automation process for everything you can in Minecraft Java, makes me want to do it for the Bedrock edition too. Or if Mojang/Microsoft make some major parity updates and add the best differences to each edition and work out any conflicting changes by asking the player base for a majority vote, this most definitely would resolve the “Civil War” that’s been brewing between editions. There would also be no need to change a redstone design to work in a different edition, switch to another edition because a design for a farm would be better in said edition, switching because third party mods are hard to use on Bedrock, switching because your family member only has Bedrock edition, switching for quasi connectivity redstone, switching back and forth is the bottleneck that has been starring at them 2 millimeters from their faces. <br>I ran a survey back in 2020; it was of 1,200 people who have or had played Minecraft in the past, a staggering 98% said something along the lines of “I like this Edition more” or “I extremely dislike that they are same game but extremely different”. Just this year I did the same thing, and it’s 99% with the other 12 people saying that they mainly play Bedrock edition because of the earlier version releases. <br>Mind blowing isn’t it?
Currently Diamonds are renewable, with trial vaults, I would love to see a farm on that! There is a chance to get diamonds from regular vaults, so they are now technically infinitely renewable
No. Theres a limited amount of vaults.
@Andrew-k6ntechnically not if u let multiple players join ur world
Sure. Dumbfuck just get 128 players...
U can still attribute swap with the spear and mace
they nerfed the spears but didn't fix the shield bug, when you get shot with an arrow and try to block it, the arrow keeps bouncing on the shield
I really hope mojang keeps the trident killers. As a long-time bedrock player and someone who just permanenetly moved to java a year or 2 ago, trident killers are my life, and I can't survive without them<br><br>If mojang adds trident killers to java that would be the biggest W I've ever seen
Yeah! Mojang are so evil for making Bedrock has really good features! 😒 They also needs to add "Dressing Room" to Java!
Why would the skellyhorse not burn? The skelly does…
@RayWorks my bro what's up?<br>Btw be proud a youtuber called Prism mentioned your discovery in their video about the spear tricks :D
Thanks for letting me know. I left a comment
Jump into it with thorns and see if the original player takes damage
